Handsewn Table Checkers Game with Button Pieces: Yellow Flowers

Regular price $47.99 $0.00 Unit price per

Information:
My 100% cotton Table Checkers game is soft to the touch and easily folds to fit into small spaces. Each one includes a pocket on the back to store the pieces (12 of each color), so they will never get lost. I built them with high quality fabrics and durable stitching that will outlast the most destructive family. The board is 14” by 14” which is big enough to easily find, but small enough to play almost anywhere. With a limited lifetime warranty, you can rest assured you are getting a product that will help your family make lasting memories for years to come.

Why Buy:
Imagine your kids sitting nicely at the table playing checkers while you and your friends enjoy a well-deserved break. While talking to your friends they are complimenting you on your well-behaved kids and asking how you made it happen. You are just one game away from being the expert on calming kids in your group of friends.

What Makes it Special:
This game isn’t like the ones you will find in the dirty department stores. They are made of high-priced cardboard, are all exactly the same, are hard to wash and break easily. With this game you get a board that is made of sustainable materials, is one of a kind, is easily washed, and is hard to break.

The Story Behind the Game:
I created this game, thinking of playing checkers with my grandmother when she came to visit wherever we were stationed as an army family. She wasn’t able to come often, but she knew how to make the most of each visit. We would play many games, but checkers was my favorite, because it gave me some one on one time with my grandmother. She is the one that taught me to sew when I was very young and has helped me to practice that skill on 100’s if not 1,000’s of projects throughout the years. It was easy to imagine a game where I put these two memories together and was the game that started it all.
