Meet the Board of Directors
ACF is a volunteer-based non-profit. We have many fabulous, hard-working members on the Board of Directors this year. Learn more about them below!

Lindsay Mena - President
Lindsay has been on the ACF board since her first general meeting in 2017. She was Recording Secretary from Feb. 2017 through end of 2018 when she was nominated for President. She has been President ever since – 2019 through 2022. During her time on the BOD, she has helped re-organize ACF into a 501(c)(3) non-profit, help grow the organization and increase its membership and helped found the “Create It Forward” Scholarship fund that ACF now hosts through the Flathead Valley Community College (Fall 2019 was 1st awarded Scholarship)
Lindsay has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Montana Tech (Butte, MT) and a master’s degree in Occupational Safety and Emergency Management form Eastern Kentucky University.
She is married to a wonderful man – Hunter Mena. Her favorite hobbies include golfing with Hunter, hiking, gardening, reading and hanging out with her bestest little buddy – a French bulldog named Yoda.

Julie Frederick - Vice President
Julie earned a Masters Degree in Psychology and Biochemistry. She currently has her own practice in Kalispell where she specializes in crisis and trauma therapy.
In conjunction with fellow ACF Member, Pat Baker, she provides art therapy for her clients and others by hosting weekly oil painting classes.
Julie has also learned how to paint, mainly with oil paints. Some of the subjects she paints include western wildlife and domestic cats and dogs.
Julie is married and has lived in Kalispell for 23 years with her husband and two Australian Shepherds. She has five grown children and 15 grandchildren!
Together with her husband they own an artisan jam company - Slammin' Jams. She also designs hand painted flower vases and grows dahlias and other heirloom flowers. She sells her floral arrangements at Kalispell Farmers Market every Saturday during the summer months.

Wendy Maechtle - Publicity Admin
Wendy has always loved to do crafts and in 2010 she decided to try and sell her handmade products. She has done many crafts over the years including ceramics, leatherwork, crocheting, knitting and painting. Currently she focuses on refinishing vintage furniture and crochet.
Wendy has a yard full of chickens and has added four new chicks to the bunch this year!
In her free time she enjoys kayaking and running 5K races.

Lynn Krutzler - Membership Secretary
Lynn runs a small business called SewFaithful. Her products include sewn baby Items, table settings, aprons, hand towels, framed Bible verses, faux plant / flower arrangements, totes, costume jewelry, sun catchers, etc.
Lynn retired from United Airlines where she worked as a flight attendant. She moved to the Flathead Valley in March, 2018. In April 2020 she started her craft business because of and during COVID-19. Her business began when she started making face masks for family, friends and neighbors. Lynn also started making Tuxedo Wine Bottle Gift Bags and Tote Bags from upholstery samples which are inspired by a group of women in Summit County, Colorado - The Bag Ladies.
Lynn's hobbies include traveling, camping, and kayaking.
She also enjoys entertaining in her home with food and games.
Lynn also volunteers at The Conrad Mansion!

Pam Bondesen - Show Committee Co-Chair
Pam is a co-Chair serving on the amazing show and picnic committees for ACF. She is also the owner of Lillie Lane Montana where she specializes in custom minky fabric and epoxy creations.
Pam earned her bachelor's degree in Social Science from Long Beach State University in California. She stared her career with the county of San Bernardino as a Social Service Supervisor. After 30 years of hard work, she retired in 2015 and reloacted to Montana to be closer to family.
Pam has been married for 20 years. Her children and grandchildren are spread throughout the US. Pam enjoys gardening, especially flowers and sunning with her Daisy Doodle!

Stacey Jewell - Show Committee
Stacey is one of ACF's Show Committee Members and runs a small business called Stacey's Space. Her products include acrylic pour paintings, resin art, paper doll art, and other creations. Stacey has always had a love for art!
Ever since Stacey was little she has loved everything about art; colors, textures, and all of the various mediums.
She would create paper dolls with pretty faces and different outfits to wear. Most outfits were made up of fabric pieces.
While growing up she took every Art Class available to her in school and she continues to learn how to apply these methods in her art applications.
In December of 2004 she graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelors' in Art.
Last year Stacey brought the love of creating paper dolls into her card making process. She has created a collection of Dolls, Angels, and Nutcrackers for Christmas and other occasions.

Christina Smith - Social Media Admin
Christina is one of ACF's web and social media admins. She also owns her own business called Christina Smith Art & Design where she creates artwork using various mediums, including watercolor. She then turns her creations into products such as prints, cards, stickers, hand painted earrings and other stationary.
Christina has been creating artwork since she was little. Born and Eureka, MT, she would spend her childhood days chasing birds and drawing pictures. She attended Flathead Valley Community College for Graphic Design and now is working towards opening her own online shop to sell her stickers, art prints and more!
