Members Picnic Scheduled for August 28, 2022

Picnic Committee had a great meeting last  night.  They have a bunch of fun plans in place for our Annual Members Picnic.  For those of you that are new to ACF, the members picnic is a fun afternoon of socializing with your fellow members.  We will have food catered by Famous Dave’s BBQ and ask attendees to bring a side dish or dessert to share—Members with last names A-K should plan to bring dessert or fruit and members with last names L-Z please plan to bring a side dish or salad.

The Picnic will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  So, mark your calendars!!

Fall Craft Supply Sale

At the April General Meeting, Erin Solin presented her idea for a art/craft supply community sale - likely in September or October.  There seemed to be lots of interest so Outreach Committee is going to proceed with plans for this event and submit a final proposal to the General Membership later this summer.  Please consider attending the next Outreach Committee Meeting if you’re interested in helping plan this event.

Seeking Prize Donations for Future Outreach Committee Fundraising Events

Hey Everyone, we are still seeking additional donations for our future fundraising events and Raffle basket prizes.  All proceeds from our fundraising efforts go to our “Create It Forward” scholarship fund, and we’d love to keep it going and growing.  Please consider donating a handmade item or two to our prize pool.  Donating is also a great way to help advertise your business because you might get your product into the hands of a new future loyal customer and your donated item will be advertised on our event promos. Please bring contact Denise at 406-270-9538, seedenisemt@gmail.com to coordinate delivery/drop off.

Outreach Committee off to a great Fundraising Start!

Outreach Committee hosted WINGO (a.k.a. Bingo) night at MontaVino Wintery on April 27, 2022, and it was a great success!  They raised  $450!!

Many of the guests who participated in this event asked if we could make it a weekly or monthly thing.  We would love to consider this and MontaVino Winery has also expressed interest in hosting us again.  So, stay tuned for more future updates from Outreach Committee.

Please give a big, huge thank you to Denise Seehusen, Debbie Young, Sheila Ireland and Paige Howard for organizing and helping with this event.

Don’t forget to order your nametags

Erin Solin, is still making name tags for anyone who wants one.  All ACF event vendors are required to wear a name tag for our Art/Craft Shows.  You can make one yourself, buy one from elsewhere, or get one from Erin.

Please order by June 10 if you want to have it ready in time for the Summer Show.

There are two options for you this year - (1) the standard one with the ACF logo, your name and business name and (2) a Custom option that can include your own business logo instead of the ACF one.  Standard name tags are $8 each and custom name tags are $10 each.

*please note there is a $1 card processing fee if you pay with a debit or credit card.

Summer Show is Full and the Map is Set!!

Welcome letters to all vendors were mailed last week, so please let us know if you did not receive yours.  We have 108 handmade vendors occupying 135 booths, 28 food trucks and 8 musicians scheduled to appear this year.

We are seeking volunteers to help us out with Summer Show.  We’d love to have members that have elected to not participate in this event as a vendor, or if any vendors who might have family members or friends that would be willing to help out.  We will need helpers for parking coordination, shuttle driving, ticket takers at food truck festival, vendor water delivery, and more!  Please consider donating your time to this ever-growing event.

Volunteers will get free admission to the food truck festival and a voucher for a free meal from one of the food trucks.
