Cuc started quilting in 2007, first it was just hand sewn & quilted items. They were pot holders & placemats and she gave these small quilts as gifts to friends & family members.

Until her husband surprised her with a special birthday gift of a Bernina 440QE that when her quilting business took place. Her love to quilt and the desire to share with customers started with her very first show in the Fall of 2007, Stowe Foliage Arts & Festivals where her Foliage table runners were a hit with visitors who came to admire Vermont Foliage.

Cuc taught herself how to quilt by reading books & quilting magazines. Being a retired chemical engineer, Cuc is a wizard in Math and she applied her Math skills to design all her quilts. The quilts are truly unique with heirloom quality and many quilting designs reflect her love of Nature.

Cuc’s signature Autumn Foliage has been exhibited in Paris Patchwork in 2011. Her work was featured with three other quilters from Stowe, Vermont in the Tokyo Japanese Patchwork magazine, Spring 2010.

Her Venetian Stained- Glass quilt, a graduation gift for her daughter, was exhibited at Bozeman outdoor Quilt show in 2007. She was also selected to be featured with other artisans in Stowe Guide magazine & Burlington Free Press in Vermont, 2008 & 2009 respectively for Vermont Festival of The Art and Stowe Foliage Craft Fair.

Being a fiber artist, Cuc also designed Aprons, little girls dresses, tote bags and recently she added fleece tug toys for dogs where the money is raised from the sales of tug toys to support Humane Society of Northwest Montana and For the Love of Dogs Vermont (a rescue mission to bring dogs to VT for adoption instead of euthanize).

Cuc is an advocate for animal rights. She regularly donates her handmade pet bandannas, toys & fleece coats to entice others to adopt rescue dogs from HS of NWMontana and For the love of dogs Vermont, a rescue operation that rescue dogs in the South from being euthanized & get adopted in Vermont & North East.

Being creative, Cuc is always looking to add new designs, new products and as of January 2024, she had created new blocks fleece jackets for women which are truly unique and one-of-a-kind.

As soon as she announced the new collection of women fleece jackets designed by Cuc, two of her fleece jackets had been bought by a friend & a returned customer.
