I am a weaver, spinner, knitter and dyer. My "fun" is blending fibers to obtain a specific color using tiny bits of all the colors apparent in the final mix. This is usually accomplished with natural wool fibers. I then spin the wool "batts" and ply them together to make a two strand yarn which I then knit into various items - mostly crazy hats, holey hats and scarves. I have been spinning and weaving for over 45 years and still find it the most fun way to create new items. Come see me at the winter (Christmas) craft fair at the Fairgrounds.
