Collection: Pat Baker - Original Oil Paintings
Pat Baker's western and wildlife art combines two wonderful intertwined artistic gifts: detailed accuracy and a unique story telling ability. Her grandfather, artist E. O. Adams, and her childhood in Montana, serve as an inspiration for Pat's original oil paintings, which number more than 800. She has showed in juried and invitational shows and has won numerous awards. Her work is part of public and private collections in all fifty states as well as 39 foreign countries.
Pat explains that her favorite piece is "always the one I am working on at the moment. The great outdoors is my canvas...if it will hold still long enough, I will paint on it". Most of her art tells cherished stories of her childhood or her grandchildren that come to life the longer you gaze into her work.
