Sharing home baked goods with others has always been a tradition in my family. Some of my fondest memories are of helping in the kitchen while my grandmother baked breakfast treats to share with family and friends, and while my mom created gourmet cookies and desserts for the neighborhood coffee klatch and our family’s annual holiday open house.

My passion for baking has continued throughout the years. Always striving for the perfect blend of flavors, I would recreate recipes, enlisting my family, friends and coworkers as food critics. Their encouragement is what motivated me to go into the baking business.

With the passing of the Montana Cottage Food Law, I was able to make a midlife career change from nurse to home baked goods artisan. With my family’s encouragement, a ServSafe certificate, and enrollment into the Montana Artrepreneur Program to guide me through creating my new business, my home kitchen has now become a registered Cottage Food Operation known as Sweet Traditions, LLC.

Specializing in cake truffles & pops, scones, and more family favorites, Sweet Traditions can now become a part of your celebrations and gatherings, or anytime you just want a little bite of bliss.
