Originally from Vancouver, Canada, my home base has been Lakeside, Montana for over half my life. I am grateful to my parents who exposed me to world cultures and instilled a love of travel. Souvenirs from those early travels were beaded necklaces, and today, my love of unique beads and foreign cultures has influenced a thriving jewelry business. Mostly self-taught, I experiment with sheet metal in copper, brass and sterling silver. Pieces may be hammered, polished, patinated or acid-treated, and are often engraved with my signature doodles. Besides metals, I design with beads, both domestic and from locales as far away as Bhutan and Peru. My other creations are wide-ranging and diverse including welding and oxy-acetylene cutting of steel, hand-drawing on various mediums and sculpting with found objects from the Flathead Valley.
